Preview: Greetings from Kwat, Just the Tonic, The Caves

THEY come from the Democratic Republic of Kwat - a country left off the world atlas after missing the application deadline - and bring with them sketch-comedy.

Long an integral part of the Fringe landscape, sketch-shows have had a lower profile over the last few years. Kwat intend to change all that as they invite you to journey with them as they explore the dirty under-carriage of suburban dystopia.

In the meantime, here are a couple of jokes to keep you going, the first from troupe member Chloe Metcalfe, “I was sitting in my office and a tall lady walked past. She must have been tall I’m on the 15th floor.”

Maddy Carrick offers the second: “What did the cheese say when it looked in the mirror? Halloumi!”

Greetings from Kwat, Just the Tonic, The Caves, 10.15pm, until 26 August (not 14), £5-£10
