Lost Edinburgh: Princes Street Railway Station

Functioning up until its closure in 1965, the station stood at the west end of Princes Street.
After the station was demolished in 1970, the only surviving remnant was the hotel, now the Caledonian.
The site now is taken up by the city’s financial district and the Western Approach road.
