Occupation: Agency careworker/singer-songwriter.

What sort of pupil were you? Very social and sporty, one of the ‘Jocks’, and kept my passion for music to myself.

Were your school days the best of your life?: No, but I’m a believer that life gets better as it goes along.

What was your first job: Fruit and veg delivery man.

What has been your most unusual job: Apprentice dental technician, making false teeth.

My biggest achievement to date has been... Gaining my honours degree while writing, producing and recording my debut album.

Three words that sum up personality best are: Outgoing, fun-loving, ambitious.

Favourite place in the world is... Lochanhully view point - Carrbridge near Aviemore.

Name three places in Edinburgh you couldn’t live without: Cineworld, MacGowans, my flat.

Who is your best friend?: It’s 50/50 between my partner and my Granda.

Which TV show do you never miss: I’m a huge documentary fan, mainly animal/nature programmes.
