PICASSO AND MODERN BRITISH ART: Picasso remains the 20th century’s single most important artistic figure, and this landmark exhibition is the first to explore the Spaniard’s connections with Old Blighty. There’s more than 120 works on display, including more than 50 paintings by Picasso, as well as works by Henry Moore, David Hockney and Francis Bacon. THE VELVETEEN RABBIT: This enchanting story of how a toy was loved so much that he became real was a hit at last year’s Fringe.
