Edinburgh Sketcher: Hawthornvale, Newhaven

This modern looking building halfway down Hawthornvale in Newhaven is the Bill Scott Sculpture Centre, part of the Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop. The new building provides space and facilities for artists to work. I was walking down to Ocean Terminal in Leith and had to take 5 minutes to sketch this when I saw the building.
The workshop takes part in Doors Open Day next Saturday (22nd September) with various tours and talks throughout the day. See the ESW website (edinburghsculpture.org) for more information.
