Comedy review: Georgie Morrell: The Morrell High Ground

Edinburgh Festival Fringe: When a comedian who talks about themselves isn't funny, they're nothing more than a person with a microphone holding a group of strangers hostage. Hello, Georgie Morrell.

Underbelly Med Quad (Venue 302)

She’s had a tough life, having suffered from arthritis and severe vision impairment since childhood. This show is a tribute to her supportive parents and the NHS doctors and nurses who’ve cared for her. Potentially interesting stuff, but Morrell’s comedy is utterly pedestrian.

Until 28 August.
