Borders home and estate transformed by new artwork
Mellerstain House in the Borders has received a facelift thanks to a new installation by acclaimed artist Steve Messam.
The works, entitled XXX, comprise three large-scale inflatable and fabric sculptures integrated into the buildings and surrounding gardens of the 18th century property. The artwork was curated by Sarah Coulson and is said to “create a dialogue with the surrounding environment”.
