Are you dancin’?: Award for Reece first time of asking

A TEENAGE dancer, one of four ballet brothers from Scotland, has been named Young British Dancer of the Year.

Reece Clarke, 16, from Airdrie, a student at the Royal Ballet School, collected his award at the Theatre Royal Opera House in Covent Garden at the weekend.

Reece’s mother Ann sent him and his brothers to dance lessons in Airdrie to keep them off the streets.

The Royal Ballet Outreach programme noticed their talents one by one and put them through training with the Music and Dance Scheme support.
