CANADIAN crooner Michael Buble is back to his old tricks on his fourth album, To Be Loved, his first non-Christmas material since 2009’s Crazy Love.

The 37-year-old dad-to-be mostly sticks to his tried-and-tested formula of putting his own take on classic tracks, but shows off his skills with four original songs including After All, co-written and performed with fellow Canadian Bryan Adams.

As far as collaborations go, he sings with Oscar-winning actress Reese Witherspoon on Something Stupid for their rendition of the Frank and Nancy Sinatra duet, reunites with the Puppini Sisters on Nevertheless (I’m In Love With You) and teams up with his tour’s supporting act, vocal group Naturally 7, on Have I Told You Lately That I Love You.

Buble’s slick vocals cannot be faulted throughout, especially on Close Your Eyes and Smokey Robinson’s Who’s Lovin’ You.

Other tracks include You Make Me Feel So Young, It’s A Beautiful Day, To Love Somebody, Come Dance With Me, Close Your Eyes, To Be Loved, You’e Got A Friend In Me, I Got It Easy and Young At Heart.
