5. Maldon, East England
Home to the Hythe Quay, residents of Maldon also have a high quality of life according to the Halifax survey.
6. Selby, Yorkshire and the Humber
Just a stone’s throw from York, the small town of Selby ranked highly in several of Halifax’s quality of life factors.
7. Hambleton, Yorkshire and the Humber
The Hambleton district, which offers access to the gorgeous North York Moors National Park, came in at number seven for quality of life in the UK.
8. Babergh, East of England
The primarily rural Babergh area sits in Suffolk, and also scored highly on several quality of life factors in the survey.
