The Voice: Falkirk singer Craig Eddie stunned as he wins show live on ITV

Falkirk’s Craig Eddie has won The Voice.

The New Carron singer triumphed in the live final broadcast tonight.

His prize included a recording contract with Polydor Records

The 23-year old was the favourite to win, but he still looked stunned when host Emma Willis announced his name.

Craig finished with one of his own songs - a move he said was a risk, but one he wanted to take to put himself out there.

He went head to head with Olly Murs’ finalist, Grace, and triumphed thanks to the public vote.

A stunned Craig said: “Thank you to everyone, to Scotland and to Anne Marie for believing in me and taking me to this point.

“I genuinely cannot express my thoughts.”

The former St Mungo's High School pupil was one of four finalists in tonight’s show, which saw him deliver a stunning duet of No Doubt’s ‘Don’t Speak’ with his star mentor.
