Your the boss: Hibs

BRYAN PHILLIPS thinks Hibs' trip to Tannadice could settle the battle for third place and the Marchmont researcher thinks the Easter Road side can come out on top.

What would your team and formation be? I hope Kevin McBride is fit enough to take John Rankin's place and that's my only change from the Irvine Meadow game.

What are United's strengths and weaknesses? They've put together a decent squad for not too much cash, particularly in Danny Cadamarteri. Thankfully for us, he's injured this week. They've struggled to adapt after losing Craig Levein as boss – Peter Houston doesn't want the job and, up until they beat Hamilton in midweek, he was struggling.

How will you counter their strengths and exploit their weaknesses? Their squad is starting to come apart. With Cadamarteri injured and Nicky Weaver moving on they're having a few changes which seems to have unsettled them a bit. Hibs have been reasonably consistent and done not too badly at Tannadice over the years.

What do Hibs have to do to win the game? An early goal could be crucial. The home fans won't be too happy at the chances they've missed to jump above us and, if we were to go five points ahead with a game in hand, we'd be starting to open up a bit of a gap. It won't be easy, though.
