Yani Tseng in command in race for fourth major

YANI Tseng was in firm control at the LPGA Championship and the Taiwanese world No 1 relished yesterday's opportunity to add to her record-setting collection of major crowns.

Tseng was carrying a five-stroke lead into the final round of the event at Locust Hill Country Club in the United States, and a victory would make the 22-year-old the youngest male or female golfer ever to amass four major titles.

"I'm working on that," said the 22-year-old Tseng about the possibility of overtaking Pak Se-ri of South Korea and Tiger Woods, who both were 24 when they won their fourth professional majors.

"Don't give up until the last putt drops in," she added.
