Yanders sets Rocks up to see off Sharks

BASKETBALL: The Glasgow Rocks secured their place in the second round of the BBL Trophy competition with a thrilling 69-60 win over league leaders, Sheffield Sharks. The Rocks trailed most of the game until the fourth quarter when they took the lead through a Rob Yanders free throw.

The Rocks maintained their lead until the end of the game and will face the winner of the London Capital v Everton Tigers tie in the next round of the competition which was postponed due to safety concerns about the weather, with the date to be confirmed.
