Volleyball: City finally come unstuck

City OF EDINBURGH lost their unblemished record in Scottish volleyball after a remarkable run since the start of the new campaign.

The club was undefeated across its senior and junior teams and, before last weekend, had amassed a total of 22 wins and no losses.

But while City of Edinburgh men’s first team continued their impressive start with a 25-12, 25-15, 25-15 win over Troon PA in Ayr, elsewhere things did not go according to plan.
