Volleyball: City aiming to continue unbeaten run

City OF EDINBURGH held on to their unbeaten record in the men’s Schelde Sports Scottish Volleyball League and show no signs of losing their foothold.

Even without four key players due to injury, the leaders had too much for Bon Accord, winning 25-11, 25-13, 21-25, 27-25.

If Barry McGuigan’s side can beat bottom-of-the-table South Ayrshire on Saturday, they will have completed the first half of the league season unbeaten before the final of the John Syer Trophy later this month.
