SCOTLAND’S flag-bearer Euan Burton admitted that the extra pressure of leading the athletes into the 20th Commonwealth Games had added to his nerves ahead of a record-breaking performance by the Scottish judo squad.
In all, 13 of the 14 team members won a medal and Burton was one of the last to appear, but delivered with a fine win in the under 100kg category.
