Annan, on the other hand, look set to have nothing to play for between now and the end of the season. Having been in contention for a play-off place, Harry Cairney's side have slipped ten points behind Queen's Park, who occupy fourth place. This was largely down to a three-game losing streak which saw Annan beaten by Queens, Albion Rovers and Stranraer in the space of a week.
That run equalled their worst of the season to date and they will be keen to avoid a fourth consecutive defeat. They will take comfort from the fact that they held Livingston to a goalless draw early last month.
