Table tennis fun at Royal High

Regular table tennis coaching sessions for children and adults of all playing levels are up and running at the Royal High School on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6.15pm to 9.30pm with 16 tables available.

Meanwhile, on the competitive front, the Edinburgh and Lothians table tennis league has expanded to five divisions for the first time in 32 years with the season newly under way.

Haddington and Fife (who will play matches at Inverkeithing) have joined.

The Premier Division looks wide open following a number of team changes in the close season. A new look North Merchiston 1 displayed their title credentials with an opening 6-4 victory over Edinburgh Sports Club’s 1st team. New recruit Cameron Hussein won the key match, defeating ESC’s top man, Graham Sutherland, 3-2.
