Students’ trip hit by frosty Florida

SIX Stirling University students had the start to their US golf sojourn hit by frost – in Florida.

Kelsey MacDonald, Eilidh Briggs, Harret Beasley, Jordana Graham, Mhairi McKay and Rebecca Wilson are in the field for the Harder Hall Invitational amateur event at Sebring but the frost took so long to lift that the first round of the first event of the Orange Blossom Tour could not be completed in a day. A seventh Stirling student, Hannah McCook, did not fly to Florida until Monday and won’t play until the second event next week.
