Stew-Mel do an Italian job

Stewart's Melville rugby youngsters have successfully undertaken an annual end-of-season tour which also served as reward for winning each of the nine tournaments they competed in this season.

The boys visited Northern Italy as guests of the San Lorenzo club where they competed in a series of matches at Clusone and La Pista Di Bon Estivo, winning all six fixtures.

Accompanied by Glasgow coach Sean Lineen, whose son, Jacob, figured in the squad, the boys have now completed their P7 Sunday mini rugby programme at Stew-Mel Lions and step up a level.
