Shinty: Borthwick back to his best
Luckily for bosses Russell Jones and Davie Anderson, the forward is back and his two late goals kept Kings top of the Premiership – as it looked as if newly-promoted Lochaber were going to leave the Dell with a point until Borthwick’s clinchers in 85 and 88 minutes.
Borthwick hopes Kings can now mount a serious trophy challenge. He said: “That’s two wins out of two so you can’t ask for better. We just need to keep the run going now.”
Kyles and Inveraray also maintained their unbeaten record with a 1-0 win over Glen Urquhart and a 4-2 win over Oban respectively.
