Scotland set to welcome All Blacks in autumn 2012

Scotland will play world champions New Zealand at Murrayfield next November, the Scottish Rugby Union has announced.

The Springboks, beaten last November by Andy Robinson’s side just a week after a heavy defeat to the All Blacks at Murrayfield, are scheduled to play on the weekend of 17/18 November, with Tonga the opposition in the third and final Test on the weekend of 24/25 November.

Scotland head coach Andy Robinson said: “Once again we have a fixture list for the 2012 EMC Autumn Tests which really whets the appetite as we’ll be engaged in Test match rugby against the cream of the southern hemisphere.”

The matches will complete a 2012 fixture programme which begins with the RBS Six Nations opener with England on 4 February and includes a summer tour to Australia, Fiji and Samoa.

Details of kick-off times and ticket pricing for the 2012 EMC Tests will be announced after the Six Nations Championship.
