Schools sailing: Pupils enjoy a VIP day at the sea

SAILING: Pupils from two Lanarkshire schools – Hamilton School for the Deaf and Blackwood Primary – had a day to remember when they watched Scots David Kohler, Anna Burnet and Flora Stewart compete at the European 470 Championships in Largs.

The pupils all take part in sailing and were part of the VIP day – getting the opportunity to meet competitors and watch them race. Burnet and Stewart won their opening race on Sunday.
