School’s netball: Fun festival success

A FUN 5z Netball Festival – a small-sized game for younger age groups – coincided with the formation of a new netball club in Glenrothes.

The Markinch Primary School A team won an event that involved 100 pupils from nine primary schools and the hope is a number will join the new club.

Lindsay Meighan of Netball Scotland said: “A Fun 5z festival is a fantastic opportunity to learn about netball. I’m looking forward to discovering some potential future Scotland stars.”
