Selkirk coashing reshuffle for 2013-4 campaign

THE Selkirk coaching team is to be re-jigged for the 2013-14 campaign, while director of rugby Dennis Henderson is set to step down after 15 years in the post.

Over the last two seasons, the trio of coaches in charge of the first XV at Philiphaugh have been Brian Cassidy, Ali Dickson and Ewen Robbie. Now the most experienced of them – Cassidy – is to step down, with Dickson taking over as head coach.

He will continue to look after the backs while Robbie will be given a hand with the forwards by the club’s development officer and former British & Irish Lion, Iain Paxton.
