London Scottish snap up Gala’s Lee Millar

LONDON Scottish have snapped up one of the most talented club players in the Scottish game, Gala stand-off Lee Millar.

The 21-year-old is a product of Moray RFC in Elgin but the Maroons signed him nearly three years ago and he has been a key figure in the club’s return to the top flight as well as their 2012 Scottish Cup triumph and challenge for the Premier One title this term.

Kicking over 200 points in the league this season, Millar has become arguably the leading stand-off in Premier One, and represented the Scotland Club international side. He also starred in Gala’s debut British and Irish Cup victory over London Scottish. However, with no openings in either of the Edinburgh or Glasgow squads he has agreed a one-year deal at the English Championship club and will move south in June.
