The Warriors have confirmed the addition of a new 1,649 all-seater east stand, which will be constructed to replace the standing terrace for the games against Ospreys, Zebre and Cardiff Blues. Two pitchside standing locations will also be introduced in the south east and north west corners of the stadium.

Tickets for the uncovered east stand are available now priced at £20 for adults, £15 for concessions and £5 for under-18s. Limited pitchside standing tickets are available priced at £10 for adults and £5 for under-18s. Tickets are also still available in the three covered stands for these matches.

The work at the stadium will be done in partnership with Scottish Rugby and Glasgow Life and Warriors managing director Nathan Bombrys said: “We have another very exciting run-in to the end of the season with the Guinness Pro12 leaders Ospreys next up at Scotstoun a week on Saturday.

“We want to create as big a stadium as possible to support our players in these important games and the latest increase in capacity will enable us to play in front of crowds of over 7,000.

“We would like to thank our partners at Glasgow Life and Scottish Rugby for their support with this new stand.

“But, most importantly, we would like to thank our supporters who have created a special atmosphere this season.

“We hope they continue to get behind the team in even greater numbers for our remaining home games.”
