Rugby: Scotland’s newest rugby club Bo’ness to face Pigbarians at Linlithgow

Formed as a result of a social media campaign and boasting Edinburgh and Scotland stars Geoff Cross and Allan Jacobsen among Honorary Presidents, Bo’ness played their first fixture against a Murrayfield Wanderers XV in March and intend operating a fixture list throughout the summer.

Tomorrow Bo’ness tackle opponents whose aim is to raise funds and awareness of the charity Dreamz4U which assists terminally ill children across Scotland.

• Heriot’s rugby forward CJ Osazuwa has been chosen to take the first steps on a journey which could lead to a World Cup appearance when he lines up for his native Nigeria in qualifiers next month.

Osazuwa says: “I have been included in a squad of 24 going to South Africa then Botswana for three games in seven days during July.”

The “Black Stallions” will face Mauritius, Cameroon and Botswana. Second row Osazuwa has already represented Nigeria at seven-a-sides.
