Rugby: Points aplenty for hat-trick stars Hamner and Robertson

David ROBERTSON and Nick Hamner both bagged
hat-tricks for their respective
clubs as there were points aplenty in the RBS East Leagues over the weekend.

Robertson was the star man for Leith in RBS East Three, his three tries leading them to a 57-3 home win over Liberton and kept them on the tails of the top two of Inverleith and
St Boswells. And Hamner’s trio of tries for Inverleith kept them top of the division and unbeaten after a 62-0 win at Arboretum over RDVC.

It was also Hamner’s second hat-trick of the season after he ran in three against Queensferry earlier in the month, and the team have now scored 220 points and let in just 28 in fourth matches.
