Rugby: Northern on song to keep East Three title in firm focus

Edinburgh Northern put in a strong first half performance on Saturday against Inverleith to keep themselves on track to win the RBS East Three title.

Last week they secured a crucial victory away to fellow challengers Leith and they backed that up this weekend with a hard fought 13-7 home victory over the men from Arboretum.

In the same division Leith bounced back from the aforementioned loss to Northern with a 17-7 home win over St Boswells to keep themselves in the mix, while RDVC defeated Queensferry 57-26 and Liberton went down 67-12 at Walkerburn.
