Rory McIlroy edges clear of Tiger Woods
Tiger Woods fell off the pace at the BMW Championship in Carmel, California last night, allowing Fiji’s Vijay Singh and Northern Irishman Rory McIlroy to share the lead.
Fourteen-time major winner Woods dropped two shots over his first four holes, slipping to 10 under and tied for ninth in the process.

Hide AdThat left a clutch of players ahead of him, with overnight pacesetter Singh joined under 13 under by in-form USPGA champion McIlroy, who birdied the par-four fourth to trim a shot off his running score.
Americans Dustin Johnson and Ryan Moore were a shot off the pace on 12 under, with Phil Mickelson and European Ryder Cup pair Graeme McDowell and Lee Westwood all a shot further back on 11 under.
Padraig Harrington was alongside Woods on 10 under.
