Rhys Webb on Wales bench

WALES have been forced to make a change among their replacements for the RBS Six Nations clash against Italy in Cardiff tomorrow.

Uncapped Ospreys scrum-half Rhys Webb will take over from an injured Lloyd Williams, the Welsh Rugby Union announced last night.

Williams, who was scrum-half understudy to Mike Phillips at last autumn’s World Cup in New Zealand and throughout the current Six Nations campaign, suffered a thigh strain in training this week.

Webb, 23, is in his fifth season at the Ospreys and has played for Wales at under-18 and under-19 levels.
