Rankin stays on as Dundee HSFP chief

IAN Rankin will remain as Dundee HSFP director of rugby next season after leading the club into its first British and Irish Cup adventure.

His assistants will be Alan Clark (backs/skills), JJ van der Esch (scrummage) and Barry Jones (strength & conditioning). PSL Team Sports have also been confirmed to supply the club’s kit from Canterbury.

Club president Gerry Tosh said: “We are delighted to be able to confirm our coaching team and kit suppliers for next season. This helps to provide stability and continuity after what was the best season in this club’s history.

“We are particularly delighted that ‘Ranks’, widely recognised as the best club coach in Scottish rugby, will be leading us into next season’s challenging Premiership and British & Irish Cup campaigns.”
