Queens still full-timers

Queen of the South have announced they will remain a full-time club for next season as the Doonhamers step up their search for a new manager.

After posting losses of over 455,000 for the year ending May 2010, chairman David Rae warned there was a distinct possibility that the players would have to be employed on a part-time basis.

Sacked manager Kenny Brannigan bemoaned the lack of financial support last season when he worked with an outfield squad of just 13 players and the budget is set to be cut again.
