Pretswell and Queen only Scots on course

LADIES EUROPEAN TOUR QUALIFYING SCHOOL: Pamela Pretswell and Clare Queen are the only Scots on course to pass the pre-qualifying with a round to go in La Manga.

Pretswell, the former Curtis Cup player who has entered as an amateur, is lying in a share of 17th in her group after a third-round 75 for a five-over-par total of 222, while Queen is sitting well-placed in a tie for tenth in the other section after a 73 for 218.

Both players need to finish in the top 35 to move forward to the final stage, which starts at the same venue on Sunday.
