Olympics: Usain Bolt is backing Williamson

USAIN BOLT has singled out Simeon Williamson as Britain's best hope for a sprint medal at the London 2012 Olympics.

Bolt, the Olympic and world 100 and 200metres champion, has had the chance to get a closer look at the 24-year-old Londoner when he trained in Jamaica over the winter.

"For me, Simeon Williamson looked good training with us," he said. "He can have a couple more years to shape up, sharpen up. If he gets really serious and works really hard he deserves to step up."
