Olympic Italian job for Mullin and Dampney

Edinburgh’s Shauna  Mullin and English beach volleyball partner Zara Dampney have been drawn against Italian world No. 6 pair Greta Cicolari and Marta Menegatti at London 2012.

The event on Horse Guards Parade is shaping up to be one of the highlights of the Games and the GB pair have avoided the top five teams in the world rankings. Also in their opening pool will be Russians Ekaterina Khomyakova and Evgenia Ukolova and the Canadians, Marie-Andree Lessard and Annie Martin. “I’m really excited,” said Mullin.
