Odds: Roger Federer and Serena Williams the favourites

ROGER Federer is the bookmakers' favourite to win Wimbledon this year. After a brilliant French Open campaign, in which he finished runner-up to king-of-clay Rafael Nadal, the Swiss is the 2/1 market leader with William Hill, with Nadal the 5/2 second favourite.

Novak Djokovic is 4/1 and Andy Murray has been backed in to 6/1 fourth favourite.

In the women's singles, world number one Caroline Wozniacki is offered at 10-1 and has been largely ignored by punters - but Serena and Venus Williams and Maria Sharapova have all been well backed at odds of 3/1, 8/1 and 9/2 respectively.
