No penalty clause for Lyon

LYON coach Claude Puel is convinced there will be no need for a penalty shoot-out to decide their Champions League semi-final against Bayern Munich.

Les Gones will be looking to overturn a 1-0 deficit against the Bavarians in the second leg at the Stade Gerland in order to reach the final of Europe's premier club competition for the first time.

Puel's side showed little attacking intent at the Allianz Arena last week, but he is hoping all that changes tonight.

"For me we will have to win by two clear goals so we must be sturdy in all areas," he said.

"We must be enterprising, but we must also avoid conceding goals."

And he insists he has not spoken with his players about drawing up a list of penalty takers, saying: "There is no list of penalty takers. I do not think the game will end with penalties."
