Nine new Edinburgh-based players selected for clubs international squad

Flankers Dan Teague and Mark Cairns stand apart from the other 11 players from Capital outfits who are included in the latest Scottish clubs international squads, writes BILL LOTHIAN.

The pair, captains of Edinburgh Accies and Currie respectively, have been capped at this level whereas the others are all new, among them Edinburgh Rugby development signings Robin Hislop (Boroughmuir), and Alex Allan and Hamish Watson (Edinburgh Accies). The Heriot’s contingent comprises of prolific try scorer Max Learmonth, Fraser Brown, Kevin Bryce and Jason Hill.
