Newcastle boss Chris Hughton targets a ton en route to title

NEWCASTLE United manager Chris Hughton has set his promoted side the target of 100 points as they bid to win the Coca-Cola Championship title.

The Tyneside club are eight points away from reaching that mark with four games left and they also need only four points to secure top spot in English football's second tier.

Ahead of tonight's trip to Reading, Hughton said: "

What I think would be nice would be to get 100 points. That would be a terrific achievement.

"It would be nice to crown the season as champions with that points tally."
