New Zealand 30 - 15 British & Irish Lions: All Backs clinical in win

The British & Irish Lions fell to defeat against a slick New Zealand side in the first of a three-match test.

Sean O’Brien may have scored one of the greatest ever Lions tries as the touring side brought the score to 13-8 before the interval. But the home side simply stepped up their game in the second half adding two more tries.

While Rhys Webb added a late try for the Lions coach Warren Gatland and his players were left to rue missed chances and a number of mistakes. They will have to improve significantly to avoid a whitewash.
