Netball: City champion netballers set for Cup Final

Edinburgh Onyx will be hoping to repeat their 2009 success when they face Bellahouston at East Kilbride tomorrow in the Scottish women's Netball Cup Final.

The reigning Capital league champions with an astonishing goal difference of +471, Onyx emerged from a cup qualifying group in which they overcame Shetland, Stewartry and Holyrood Tartans.

They then saw off Edinburgh Scarlets (66-39), East Kilbride (70-33) and St Andrews (67-24) in a successful knockout stage campaign.

Tomorrow's finals day begins with the Evelyn Beattie Quaich for teams eliminated before the quarter-finals and in which Edinburgh University face Scotstoun.
