Mullin secures first victory in Rome

Edinburgh's Shauna Mullin and English partner Zara Dampney recorded their first win at the World Beach Volleyball Championships in Rome when they beat Mexican pair Bibi Candelos and Mayra Garcia, seeded 32nd, 21-17, 21-19.

The pair had lost their first match to Switzerland's Simon Kuhn and Nadine Zumkehr 11-21, 16-21.
