SWIMMING: Robert Gordon’s College continued a strong tradition with success for the boys’ and girls’ teams at the annual Bath Cup and Otter Medley Relays in London.

The Aberdeen boys won the Otter Challenge Match – eight races made up of individual and relay events – for a third successive year, while the girls won the freestyle team relay.

Competing against 12 independent schools from across Britain the boys, James Yule, Timothy McGovern, Jack Ness and Lewis Proctor, won four out of the six individual events and the medley relay.

The second event – the Bath Cup – involved 63 schools and Robert Gordon’s boys produced a personal best medley relay and finished second overall in 1.51.41.

The Robert Gordon’s girls’ team – Hayley Monteith, Caitlin Rees, Caitlin Tootill, and Kirsty Ness – won a silver medal in the Invitational freestyle relay and a bronze in the medley relay.
