McKerlie–Hex into women’s starting XV

HEAD coach Karen Findlay has made some minor changes to the Scotland Women’s team to take on their Welsh counterparts at Cross Keys RFC in Wales on Sunday (kick-off 1pm). Last weekend, the Scots went down 49-0 to England at Lasswade.

Prop Suzanne McKerlie-Hex moves from the bench to the starting XV along with flanker Tess Forsberg and winger Caroline Collie. Heather Lockhart, Charlotte Veale and Katy Green take their places among the substitutes.

Findlay said: “Last Sunday was a very physical game and we’ve worked hard to get our players into the best possible shape for this next game.”

The Scots’ next home game is against France on Saturday, 25 February at Stirling County RFC. Their campaign culminates away against Italy on Sunday, 18 March.
