Ray Logan played the spearhead role for the defending national champions to perfection with the former Scottish champion taking just 15-ends to race to a 21-8 triumph in the Singles over Lawrence Kennedy.
Neil Speirs skipped Steven Forrest to a good 22-9 win in the Pairs while Andy Suddon, Gordon Logan, Greg Logan and Grant Logan recovered from 6-12 to win the Fours, 18-15.

Midlothian champions, Musselburgh put up a bold fight to share the points 4-4 at home to Castle Douglas of The Stewartry; but made their exit on shot margin being outgunned 69-60 in that department.
