Live: Andy Murray v Roger Federer in the Wimbledon final

SCOTLAND’S Andy Murray became the first British player in 74 years to make it to the final of Wimbledon when he triumphed over Jo-Wilfred Tsonga in four sets in a thrilling semi-final encounter on Friday.

Bunny Austin’s appearance in the 1938 final appearance came two years after Fred Perry won the last of his three Wimbledon finals.

Murray will be hoping to end the long wait for a British player to win the coveted title when he takes on six-time champion Roger Federer on Sunday at 2pm.
