Laszlo angry with £10,000 red-card rap

HEARTS have been fined £10,000 by the Scottish Football Association for failing to improve their disciplinary record this season.

The Tynecastle club were handed a record 50,000 in August when the statistics for last season were analysed, but 10,000 was suspended pending the disciplinary committee's consideration of the team's behaviour this term.

Csaba Laszlo's side have already seen red eight times, with the latest as recently as Saturday, when Christian Nade got himself sent off in the 1-1 Clydesdale Bank Premier League draw at Rangers.

"This is stupid. We punished ourselves," said Laszlo. "We have a problem paying the money – the club have a problem. I am definitely, definitely very angry about this."
